i am going to live here one day

i have had this picture FOR-ever. I saved it without thinking and never knew who took it. during class i was browsing blogs like i shouldn't have been and had my breath taken away when i found a similar photograph. i went to her website and just like that she's on my favorites list, pretty close to the top. the two photos are a bit different but the same lovely room.

there are those who love to get dirty.

in english class on monday we read this poem; we do that a lot, read poems in english. but the second we finished i was stunned. i mean jaw-dropping, speechlessly stunned. i don't think there has ever been anything that has described me so exactly. weirder yet, it was written thirty-some years before i was born. and then it hit me: on page 516 was this poem made for me. on page 516, the date of my birth, there it was, for me.

who love to get dirty"

positive overtones

for years i have been debating lip rings. i guess i had always felt bad ass enough that i was taking it into consideration. after five years of consideration, i think it's finally time. a friend and i made a pact that she would get a tattoo she has wanted for a long time and i would get my piercing the same day. i checked out this place called planet three and have gotten a few recommendations to go there. so today i checked it out- just checked it out- and i was all jittery and strung out, it was ridiculous. you would have thought i was about to sign my soul over to the devil. i know, i'm so dramatic. in a strange way it kind of calmed me about the whole affair but i'm glad my friend has a tattoo appointment so i have some time to prepare myself for the actual date.

i did some clicking around late tonight and found this couple. thanks to them, i get excited about starting a life with my boyfriend. if you want to get inspired like i did, here's the link to love them even more:
