warshin' machine

We finally got a new washing machine! I hadn't done laundry in three weeks at school, so when I finally came home for summer, the washer broke on the first load I tried to do! So 2½ weeks later, we finally got a new one! I did 11 loads total, and it took ALL day saturday and part of sunday. But I'm in love with it.

Totally forgot to post these a while ago! Kate Bingaman-Burt came as a visiting artist in May and I helped her print alllll day. It was awesome, and if it couldn't have gotten any better I got to go to dinner with her because of all my awesome printing skillz.

-printing an initial run with Micah-pink ink'in!-drawing some stuff for her zine!
-printing the last of the posters after everyone else left

I read Ham on Rye last year and I LOVED it. It's my favorite book, ever. I just picked up Hot Water Music and it's pretty good so far. I'm so sad Charles Bukowski is dead. I would have LOVED to meet the man. In an ode to him, this is a painting David Choe did of him.
